Why this work is in the frame

A frame that forgets how it found something cannot be audited. These are the routes that admitted this work.

No Canadian affiliation. An affiliation-only frame, the usual design, would never have seen this work. It is one of the works that make the case for inverting the frame.

Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The purpose of this investigation is to study, from a historical perspective, the urban formation that took place during 1897-1946 in Buenos Aires Province, which was affected by a tense relationship that, during this period, gave rise to paved and unpaved roads, trains, etc. The periodization that we propose covers the beginning of the railway boom, more specifically at the time that the Southern railway reached 25 de Mayo city from Empalme de Lobos (1897), until 1946, when the railways were nationalized. The area under study is more than 180 km away from the Capital city, and forms a quadrant that runs from such city up to the Provincial Route 65 line (North-South), and which is defined in the opposite direction by the National Route 205 and National Route 5 (East-West). In this opportunity, we will focus specifically on 25 de Mayo city.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
