Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to propose a first systematic of international migration law by studying the possibility of its conceptualisation as a special regime of public international law. Faced with the progressive development of international norms aiming at the regulation the migration phenomenon, responding to a growing concern on the part of States about the management of migratory flows, the research proposes a particularistic approach to these norms. It examines the actors, object, sources and norms of the regime. The study demonstrates the specificity of international migration law, explaining the possibility and necessity of a particularistic approach to the field. It also clarifies the distinctive features of the special regime, laying the foundations for a structured presentation of international migration law.
