Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

An unprecedented number of law enforcement officers and National Guard members will be on duty when tens of thousands of people gather to ring in 2018 on the Las Vegas Boulevard, just three months after one of the worldâs most famous roadways became associated with the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. New Year's Eve may look a little different in Las Vegas this year in the wake of October's mass shooting.Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo says security will be stepped up in ways people will see...and many ways they won't...The sheriff says they'll also have specialized law enforcement teams on duty for the holiday...And Lomabardo says, they're taking advantage of additional resources provided by the federal government...In terms of numbers, the sheriff says every officer will be working Sunday...meanwhile the Nevada National Guard is activating about 350 soldiers and airmen. The number of visitors is expected to be down one-point-two-percent from last year......with those people expected to spend a quarter of a billion dollars in the city while filling nearly all of its 149,000 hotel and motel rooms.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
