Abstract
Le climat du Nunavik s’est réchauffé de près de 3 °C entre 1990 et 2000. Ce réchauffement\nclimatique affecte le régime thermique et la stabilité du pergélisol. Des impacts de ce\nréchauffement touchent les pistes d’atterrissage du Nunavik, lien vital entre les\ncommunautés nordiques et le sud du Québec. Il est donc fondamental de connaître les\nconditions physiques du pergélisol sous ces infrastructures pour anticiper les impacts du\nréchauffement climatique prévu pour le prochain siècle aux hautes latitudes. À cette fin,\nl’auscultation non destructive des milieux physiques à l’aide de méthodes géophysiques est\nune avenue intéressante. Des profilages de résistivité électrique avec un système couplé\ncapacitivement et des levés de géoradar ont été réalisés le long des pistes d’atterrissage des\ncommunautés de Tasiujaq, Aupaluk, Kangirsuk et Quaqtaq en Ungava. Intégrés ensemble,\nl’interprétation des résultats des deux méthodes géophysiques a permis de produire une\ncoupe stratigraphique du remblai de piste et des conditions de pergélisol sous chaque piste.
