Abstract
Insegnare all'Università sta diventando oggi un'attività vieppiù frustrante. E' la conseguenza perversa delle trasformazioni epocali intervenute nelle società un tempo avanzate, Italia inclusa. \nIl processo di licealizzazione in atto negli Atenei sembra richiedere all'accademico doti e competenze sul versante didattico-pedagogico un tempo impensabili. Un ripensamento del proprio curricolo formativo porta l'autore a sostenere che, il più delle volte, le criticità vanno individuate in un deficit qualitativo dell'offerta diidattica legato all'insufficiente formazione culturale e/o disciplinare del docente.l L'insegnamento universitario è per sua natura legato alla ricerca che deve essere, a sua volta, organica al tipo di formazione previsto dal corso di studi nel quale l'insegnamento si colloca. Una volta rispettate queste condizioni, l'Università come Istituzione, non ha il compito di colmare le lacune non recuperate dallo studente al termine della Scuola secondaria di secondo grado e, tanto meno, coltivare nello stesso una motivazione troppo spesso assente.
