Abstract
La presente tesi compilativa analizza in maniera approfondita il concetto di Smart cities, evidenziandone le sue caratteritische e dimensioni che la pongono. In particolare si è osservato la smart mobility, una delle colonne portanti di una smart city,con la quale è possibile implementare nuove strategie di mobilità intelligenti con utilizzo di strumenti, strutture, piattforme volte al soddificiamento e al miglioramento della vita del cittadino. Il caso di studio è la città Montreal ove si analizza le sue problematiche legato al sistema di trasporto e come essa stia implementando dei progetti per un sistema urbano della mobilità sostenibile.
