Abstract
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoitus oli tarjota luontoliikuntaa mielenterveyskuntoutujille Lepposasti Luonnossa - projektin muodossa. Lisäksi tarkoitus oli tarkastella projektin hyödyllisyyttä ja saada näyttöä luontoliikuntaohjelman toimivuudesta osana mielenterveyskuntoutujien hoitoa. Lepposasti Luonnossa - projektissa yhdistyvät elämyspedagogiikka ja luonnon elvyttävä vaikutus. \n \nProjekti toteutettiin pienelle ryhmälle 20–30 -vuotiaita mielenterveyskuntoutujia Päijät-Hämeen sosiaalipsykiatrisesta säätiöstä. Projekti järjestettiin 2012 elo- lokakuun aikana ja se sisälsi kymmenen tapaamiskertaa ryhmän kanssa. Tapaamiskerrat sisälsivät luontoliikunta-aktiviteetteja, joissa pääpaino oli kiipeilyssä, melonnassa ja retkeilyssä. Projekti piti sisällään kaksi yön yli kestävää retkeä. Lepposasti Luonnossa - projektin perustana on hyvä ilmapiiri ja ohjaajien leppoinen toiminta. \n \nLepposasti Luonnossa – projekti todettiin ryhmäläisten ja säätiön ohjaajien mielestä hyödylliseksi. Kaikki ryhmäläiset innostuivat luontoliikunnasta ja olivat yhtä mieltä sen toimivuudesta mielenterveyskuntoutuksessa. Luontoliikuntaohjelmalla on mahdollisesti positiivista vaikutusta mielenterveyskuntoutujiin. Varmoja väittämiä ei voida kuitenkaan esittää, sillä ryhmäkoko oli pieni. Tämän projektin pohjalta voidaan nähdä, että luontoliikunta toimisi hyvänä osana mielenterveyskuntoutujien kuntoutusta. Tämän tyylisiä projekteja voisi olla hyvä toteuttaa enemmän.
