Abstract
El Centre d'Estudis de Granollers és un dels més antics de Catalunya que encara continuen actius. Fou creat l'any 1952 com una secció de l'Associació Cultural de Granollers, que havia estat creada cinc anys abans i que ha continuat aixoplugant el Centre d'Estudis fins a l'actualitat. Els seus objetius, tant ara com des dels seus inicis, han estat promoure i difondre la recerca sobre la història, la societat, la cultura i el medi natural de Granollers i la comarca del Vallès Oriental, com també impulsar el debat sobre aquests temes
