A scenic midsummer visit to the Pigeon River Middle Falls near Ontario's rugged Lake Superior's shoreline at Pigeon River Provincial Park, featuring this Canadian Heritage River's cascading waters and wildflower close-ups. With a crest measuring 16 metres across, a diabase dike causes the rapids and six metre Middle Falls of Ontario's Pigeon River. This Canadian Heritage River, famous for voyageurs and log drivers, arises in highlands west of Lake Superior.
