Abstract
»-- \n« Introduction: In the context of an aging population, increasing rates of chronic diseases and a lack of healthcare professionals, the recognition of experiential knowledge and the engagement of patients as partners are promising ways to ensure quality and safety of care. Following the emergence of the patient partnership paradigm, patients have graduated from the Université des patients (UP). These new patient partners (PP) are now working with other patients inside a clinic in a non-metropolitan area of Quebec. Aim and objectives: This study aims to better understand the PP engagement in a clinical setting on the shared perspectives of patients, PP and healthcare professionals. The research objectives are to (1) describe the PP engagement in the clinical setting, (2) describe the factors influencing this engagement and (3) describe the impact for the patients, the PP themselves, the professionals and the organization. Method: A descriptive qualitative design was used to achieve these research objectives. The data collection methods used were individual interviews, results validation interviews and a research journal. A thematic analysis of the data according to the method of Paillé and Mucchieli (2021) was used. Results: PPs support patients in their care by performing individual or group interventions. Factors facilitating their involvement include the knowledge developed by the PPs during UP training and the knowledge derived from the experience of living with the disease in addition to the adoption of the patient partnership approach by the professionals. A lack of organizational support and discomfort associated with the place of intervention proved to be limiting. The benefits are, among other things, an improvement in the self-management of the disease and in well-being, both regarding the patients and the PPs themselves. Conclusion: Although PP are considered real partners in the clinic, the support and preparation of all the actors involved is necessary to ensure the implementation and sustainability of such an innovative project. »--

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
