Maajoukkuepainijoiden taloudellinen tilanne Case: Suomen painimaajoukkue

Abstract
Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli tutkia ja selvittää Suomen maajoukkuepainijoiden taloudellinen tilanne, sekä katsoa haittaako opiskelu/ työnteko mahdollisesti harjoittelua. Tarkoituksena oli selvittää miesten maajoukkuepainijoiden taloudellinen nykytilanne. Apunani oli Suomen painiliiton yhteyshenkilö, ja Suomen painiliitto ry oli toimeksiantaja. Tutkimuksen ajankohta oli vuoden 2018 loppupuoli, milloin teetin kyselytutkimuksen painijoille. Kysely toteutettiin sähköisesti E-lomakkeella, lähettäen jokaiselle maajoukkuepainijalle sähköisen lähetteen sähköpostiin. \nKyselyyn vastasi yhteensä 13 maajoukkuepainijaa. Kysely oli hyvin yksinkertainen, jossa selvitettiin paljon, menee rahaa elämiseen kuukaudessa, paljonko tienaat rahaa kuukaudessa, paljonko kuluu vuodessa rahaa painiin, sekä haittaako opiskelu/työnteko harjoittelua. Kaikki vastaukset annettiin summina, paitsi viimeinen kysymys haittaako opiskelu/työnteko harjoitteluasi vastattiin kyllä tai ei. \nTutkimuksesta selvisi, että suurin osa painijoista elää lähellä köyhyysrajaa. Käytin hyväksi Putilan (2008) vuonna tekemää minimitulokyselyä, jossa määriteltiin köyhyysrajoja. Painiin kuluva raha vuodessa on huomattavan suuri, verrattuna tuloihin. Kyselyn tuloksia vahvistaa Yle Urheilun (2016) teettämä kysely, jossa haastateltiin Suomen yksilölajien huippu-urheilijoita. 4 painijaa kolmestatoista vastasi, että työnteko/opiskelu haittaa harjoittelua. \nJohtopäätöksenä on, että suurimalla osalla Suomen miesten maajoukkuepainijoista on vaikeaa taloudellisesti. Vaikea taloustilanne vaikeuttaa laadukasta harjoittelua ja painissa menestyminen hankaloituu.
