Abstract
McDonald's reported disappointing sales growth in the United States for the second quarter on Tuesday as the world's biggest burger chain keeps touting its all-day breakfast menu amid its turnaround efforts. McDonald's is reporting disappointing sales growth. The hamburger giant says sales in the second quarter at established U.S. restaurants rose 1.8 percent.FactSet Research Systems says analysts had expected growth of around 3.4 percent.McDonald's has not said how much of the sales increase - if any - was from a rise in customer visits, rather than factors such as higher pricing or people trading up to pricier items. It did say it was still the fourth straight quarter in which comparable-store sales rose in the U.S., despite "softening industry growth."McDonald's has been trying to win back customers under CEO Steve Easterbrook, with changes like its all-day breakfast menu. The company says it plans to expand the offerings later this year.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
