Abstract
Este trabalho discute a difusão do conhecimento científico como agente preventivo de desastres naturais e ferramenta de planejamento urbano, partindo da caracterização regional e da seleção peculiar de indicadores ambientais. A proposta é criar um Painel Regional Virtual com Parâmetros oriundos de Produtos de Tempo, Clima, Recursos Hídricos, Qualidade do ar, Pedologia e Radiação. A divulgação desses produtos e seus respectivos parâmetros já possibilitam o monitoramento ambiental, a geração de produtos indiretos, pesquisas escolares e trabalhos científicos, porém a proposta é concentrá-los num único portal. Segundo o IBGE, o Brasil configura-se como o maior País do Continente Sul-americano e, no mundo, só é superado pela Russia, Canadá e República Popular da China, se consideradas apenas as terras contínuas, e pelos Estados Unidos, levadas em conta as terras descontínuas. Apesar da globalização atmosférica e midiática o mapa físico brasileiro detecta especificidade e diversidade nos aspectos naturais que demandam a criação de painéis regionais de monitoramento climático e ambiental atendendo a identificação, análise e cartografia de riscos locais. ABSTRACT This project treat the diffusion of knowledge as a preventive factor of natural disaster and urban planning tool, based on the regional characterization and unique selection of environmental indicators. The purpose this project is to create a Virtual Regional Panel with parameters of products from Weather, Climate, Water Resources, Air Quality, Pedology, and Radiation. The publish of these products and their parameters allow the environmental monitoring, the generation of indirect products, educational and scientific research, but the proposal is to concentrate them in one portal. In accordance to IBGE ( Institute Brazilian de Geography e Statistic), Brazil appears as the largest country of the South American and in the world, just overcome by Russia, Canada and the People's Republic of China, if we consider only the continuous land, and the United States, taken into account the discontinuous land. In spite of globalization and mediatic map atmospheric Brazilian physicist detects specificity and diversity in the natural features that require the creation of regional panels of climate monitoring and environmental meeting the identification, analysis and mapping of local risks.
