Une introduction a la procédure suivie dans les causes de déclaration en nullité dans l'Eglise catholique, Novalis/Le Chalet, Ottawa 1986, 95 págs.De orientación nítidamente pastoral, esta breve obra es una adaptación francesa de Marriage, divaree and nultity (1984).El actual Obispo auxiliar de Sidney nos presenta, en siete capítulos muy asequibles, el matrimonio y el procedimiento judicial en las causas matrimoniales.Su experiencia forense se pone de manifiesto en el arte con el cual vulgariza los conceptos y los términos técnicos.' Los capítulos 1 y V presentan el proyecto de Dios sobre el matrimonio.Recuerdan que el vínculo sacramental -símbolo de la unión entre Jesucristo y la Iglesia-seguirá uniendo a los esposos hasta la muerte de uno de ellos.Mientras la vida conyugal teje una serie de vínculos (emocional, físico, moral, legal) que pueden llegar a ser quebrantados, el vínculo matrimonial que deriva del sacramento es indisoluble.El autor precisa que el inciso de S. Mateo «a no ser en caso de fornicación» (19,8-9) no puede interpretarse como una excepción al principio de indisolubilidad sin contradecir la firme afirmación de S. Marcos 10,11-12.Los capítulos II y III contemplan las influencias «internas» y «externas» en el fracaso del matrimonio.Se pasa revista a unos cuantos factores que, desde un punto de vista meramente humano, pueden hacer más fácil el éxito de la comunidad de vida y de amor.Sigue una lista de cuestiones prácticas y concretas que pueden resultar útiles en la preparación de los futuros cónyuges, ayudándoles a madurar su decisión
