Abstract
A police officer's been shot and killed, according to WGN-TV, and a manhunt's underway for two men, possibly three, after an incident this morning in Fox Lake -- northwest of Chicago. WGN says the officer's gun and pepper spray were taken. Helicoptrs and canine units are helping in the search. ABC 7's been reporting the manhunt started after someone was was shot near an old cement plant in the 1-hundred block of Honing Road. All schools in the area're on lockdown -- and Rollins Road's closed between Washington and Route 59. Students at Grant Community High School're being kept out of view and away from exterior glass. It's affecting service on Metra Milwaukee District North Line trains. People in the Fox Lake area're being urged by police to take caution and call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
