Abstract
Nesse trabalho são apresentados dados de petrografia, química mineral, geotermobarometria e modelagem de pseudoseção P-T de rochas metamórficas de alto grau do Complexo Quatro Cachoeiras, domínio Roosevelt, terreno Juruena, Estateriano-Caliminiano do Craton Amazônico. A área de estudo está localizada no rio Guariba, município de Nova Aripuanã, Amazonas, faz parte da faixa Roosevelt-Guariba, um corredor granito-gnáissico com direção NW-SE que se estende entre os estados do Amazonas e Mato Grosso. Foram analisados três litotipos associados entre si: (i) sillimanita-cordierita paragnaisses migmatíticos, (ii) anfibolitos e (iii) hornblenda-biotita gnaisse. As condições de pico metamórfico M1 atingiram a fácies anfibolito superior (>700°C) de média pressão (3,3 a 6 kbar), com retrometamorfismo em fácies anfibolito inferior de baixa pressão (~550°C e 1 a 3 kbar – M2). De acordo com os dados geocronológicos ambos os metamorfismos são síncrono ao magmatismo Serra da Providência, sendo relacionados a anomalia tectono-termal ativa ao redor de 1,5 Ga, o que sugere forte retrabalhamento crustal tardio do orógeno Juruena nesta região.
