Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Bit the Heeler from Kinsella, Alberta. Dog is about a year old and from a couple who is downsizing their farm operation. Broke on cats, horses and chickens. The couple are retiring, and she is from the last litter they will ever have in their life. She is from one of the few working lines left in Canada, and the farmer said there are not very many stock dogs being bred for long-distance droving. Many are just chute dogs these days. And of those which remains, most are Border Collies or Kelpies. Figured an older dog is better since dogs on the trail need to be socialized to livestock and leave them alone, which most people don't bother to do. Also, it's not a good idea to put backpacks on dogs under a year old because their bones and ligaments are still developing. So, taking in a puppy effectively sets back the plan for the Great Divide Trail a year. Needs permission from Hadassa Allison to adopt her.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
