Abstract
The Senate Environment & Public Works Committee held an oversight hearing for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). The commission's chair and two comissioners testified. They answered a variety of questions on topics including Uranium One exports to Canada, Europe and Asia. The NRC Chair Kristine Svinicki said she's committed to addressing any of the committee's concerns related to the Uranium One exports. Other topics discussed included morale and budget cuts, nuclear storage safety, and cybersecurity. Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) chairs the committee while Sen.
