En juillet 2016, à la Faculté des Lettres de l’Université Babeş-Bolyai, de Cluj-Napoca, se sont déroulés les cours de l’École d’été « La littérature canadienne francophone actuelle », soutenus aussi par l’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, l’Institut français de Cluj et l’Ambassade du Canada à Bucarest. L’organisatrice de cet événement a été Simona Jişa, Maître de conférences au Département de français, Faculté des Lettres, Université Babeş-Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca, Roumanie et la formatrice Sophie Beaulé, professeure titulaire au Département de langues modernes et d’études classiques de l’Université Saint Mary’s d’Halifax en Nouvelle-Écosse (Canada). Le volume est le résultat de cette École qui s’est proposé d’actualiser et de moderniser le contenu des cours de Littérature canadienne d’expression française qui existent dans diverses universités de Roumanie, afin de stimuler l’intérêt des étudiants en licence ou en master pour cette discipline. Un véritable échange d’idées a eu lieu entre les participants roumains et la formatrice canadienne, portant sur des aspects théoriques et pratiques et visant les littératures franco-canadiennes et québécoise des dernières décennies. Les participants (professeurs, doctorants, étudiants en master) ont pu ainsi compléter leur bagage informationnel, comme en témoigne le présent dossier qui recueille des articles de ces participants.
