Inuit Fundación nace en 2016 como pionera en el desarrollo del venture philanthropy en España, proponiendo una \nnueva manera de gestionar la filantropía, creando una cultura de donación responsable entre los financiadores y una cultura de gestión empresarial de las entidades sociales. Con esta visión crea el primer fondo filantrópico de impacto social en España e impulsa la puesta en marcha de los contratos de impacto social; además, plantea la medición del impacto social como área estratégica y transversal a la actividad de la Fundación. Los proyectos sociales participantes del fondo filantrópico de inuit Fundación contribuyen al cambio social en los ámbitos de la inclusión, la educación, el empleo y el desarrollo sostenible. inuit Fundación ofrece a las entidades sin ánimo de lucro que administran estos proyectos apoyo en capacitación y asesoramiento para fortalecer sus capacidades de gestión. Además, inuit Fundación está especializada en contratos de impacto social, como gestor de un proyecto público-privado entre administraciones públicas, inversores sociales y proveedores de servicios, con el objetivo de financiar de forma eficaz proyectos sociales de alto impacto a través de un contrato de pago por resultados.
