Abstract
Artist Statement:\nWith the amount of protected bodies of water becoming unprotected, and the further development of the tar sands by the Canadian government, I worry that freshwater animals like the Kingfisher will perish. I have used the Kingfisher in previous works of art and I found it relevant to the top of Oil and Water.
