Abstract
Este número temático da revista Rematec dedica-se à apresentação de uma teoria de ensino e aprendizagem, a teoria da objetivação. Ainda pouco divulgada no Brasil, esta teoria educativa é relativamente recente, tendo sido elaborada ainda no nosso século XXI. A teoria da objetivação pertence à corrente sociocultural inspirada na filosofia dialética materialista, na psicologia de Vygotsky, na teoria da atividade de Leont’ev e na concepção de educação de Freire. Portanto, todos as suas posições fundamentais são defendidas a partir de uma visão do indivíduo consubstancial à cultura em que ele vive e em uma visão da cultura como um lugar de conflito e esperança.
