Poète, romancier, critique littéraire, professeur distingué, Hédi Bouraoui représente l’idéal moderne de l’homme de lettres. D’appartenance tunisienne et française, il est depuis longtemps citoyen canadien. La francophonie lui tient à cœur et elle est aussi son cheval de Troie. \n \nMalgré son milieu social et culturel nord-américain, Hédi Bouraoui demeure un Méditerranéen par la chaleur de sa personnalité, l’éclectisme de sa culture et la vivacité de son imaginaire. Sa vie : un témoignage et un hymne à la gloire d’être humain et humaniste. \n \nArc-en-terre se compose d’une suite poétique en cinq mouvements où l’on suit les modulations d’une sensibilité qui aspire et respire l’amour pour une terre-femme faite de beauté, de tendresse et d’espoir,… une consolatrice fidèle dans l’errance, dans la solitude et dans les déviances et les douleurs.
