Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Between 1986 and 1994, North Carolina Baptist Hospital's AirCare averaged 800+ flights, one ended tragically with a crash minutes from Bluefield, W. Virginia airport. On April 22, 1994 four members of the AirCare flight crew perished while on a rescue mission. Hired for AirCare through Air Methods International as area manager/captain was Mr. Tony Barbee, Barbee's co-pilot, Mr. Mike Travison; AirCare Nurses, Karen " Lynn" Canada and Donna Eaton all lost their lives. "Tony, Mike, Donna and Lynn touched not only the lives of the AirCare staff, but the lives of the extended Medical Center family and the patients that they transported. Their contributions will not be forgotten." Shown here is a photo of veterans firing a salute at the funeral of Mr. Tony Barbee.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
