Abstract
La conferenza si è tenuta il 21 giugno alle ore 18, presso la Facoltà di Economia di Forlì. E' stata organizzata da Simona Zambelli in collaborazione con il Club Impresa e Management (Forlì). \n \nLa conferenza ha affrontato le problematiche istituzionali, fiscali, contrattuali e di agenzia del Venture Capital Financing. \n \nTra gli interventi anche quello di un esperto internazionale sul tema, il Prof. Douglas Cumming, docente nel 2004 presso l'Università dell'Alberta (Canada) e Cambridge University (UK). Il prof. Douglas ha analizzato le principali caratteristiche distintive del Venture Capital Financing, facendo una comparazione internazionale, focalizzandosi sulle problematiche inerenti le asimmetrie informative nel rapporto venture capitalist e impresa finanziata e le modalità di "uscita" del venture capitalist. Tali risultati sono poi stati riassunti in un paper che ha ottenuto il riconoscimento "Ido Sarnat Award" per il miglior paper pubblicato nel Journal of Banking and Finance nel 2004 (si veda allegato # 4). Nel 2005 è divenuto direttore del Dipartimento di Management ad RPI, Troy, New York. \n \n \nL'incontro è stato aperto sia a studenti, ricercatori e docenti universitari che ad operatori economici e giuristi del settore, nazionali e internazionali. \n \nL'obiettivo finale della conferenza è stato quello quello di avvicinare il mondo accademico e il mondo imprenditoriale al fine di favorire uno scambio di idee e di informazioni tra studiosi e operatori del settore su un tema cruciale per lo sviluppo delle piccole e medie imprese innovative.
