Abstract
Iris Bure återhämtar sig som bäst från ett stort svek när dödsbudet kommer: Faster Irma har gått bort. Efter sig lämnar hon Iris barndomshem, huset på Ekerö. Med några semesterveckor till godo erbjuder sig Iris att röja upp och återvänder till platsen där hon växte upp. Men det som börjar som en enkel flyttstädning får snart mörkare karaktär. Vem var egentligen hennes faster? Vilka hemligheter bar hon på? Rum för rum, låda för låda, kartong för kartong gräver sig Iris in i historien. Oförklarliga minnen från barndomen kommer upp till ytan och när forne bästisen Jonas åter kommer in i hennes liv får jakten på sanningen fastare form.
