Abstract
Este traballo multidisciplinar trata sobre as ruínas de Santo Domingo, situadas no centro de Pontevedra. Realízanse estudos para valorar o estado actual de conservación do conxunto, así como algunhas das obras que alberga. Para iso identifícase a rocha de construción das ruínas, sinalando o estado actual de mantemento e as patoloxías máis graves e frecuentes; realízanse análises para determinar as causas das alteracións atopadas; estúdase a colonización biolóxica, principalmente líquénica, que cobre as diferentes esculturas; e ensáiase a técnica láser para a limpeza de pátina negra nun granito similar ao do monumento
