Abstract
Ce projet a pour objectif de tracer un portrait des jeunes adultes de 15 à 29 ans des arrondissements La Cité - \nLimoilou et Les Rivières et d’étudier leurs besoins dans la perspective de leur insertion sociale et professionnelle. \nL’amélioration de la situation de l’emploi dans la Ville de Québec au cours des dernières années (4,2% de chômage en ce moment) a contribué à mettre en lumière la complexité des difficultés d’insertion que présentent \nceux qui n’arrivent pas à trouver de l’emploi dans un tel contexte. Les responsables des services d’aide, qui sont les initiateurs du projet et ses bailleurs de fonds, s’interrogent sur l’adéquation entre les services qu’ils offrent à ces jeunes et leurs besoins spécifiques. Le projet aura donc comme objectif d’examiner d’autres dimensions (dont certaines sont déjà relevées dans le portrait statistique), en plus du rapport au travail, qui peuvent expliquer les difficultés de ces jeunes : santé physique et mentale, relations sociales, conditions de logement, alimentation, éducation...
