Abstract
En el present treball es pretén analitzar els requisits que exigeix el Codi Civil per adquirir la nacionalitat espanyola per residencia, en especial estudiar la forma en que s'ha concretat en la pràctica jurisprudencial el contingut dels conceptes jurídics indeterminats de "bona conducta cívica", "suficient grau d'integració" i "denegació per motius raonats d'ordre públic o interès nacional". Conceptes en que la interpretació jurisprudencial sobre l'abast i contingut ha significat una relevancia especial en la aplicación de la llei. Tanmateix, s'examinará les novetats legislatives existents en el procediment d'adquisició de la nacionalitat española per residencia introduides per la Llei de Registre Civil de 2011 que està prevista que estigui en vigor al juliol de 2014, així com les modificaciones que s'han plantejat per aquest text en els borradors d'anteprojecte de Llei de Reforma Integral dels Registres
