A Responsabilidade Social das Empresas em Cabo Verde: Práticas de Gestão Empresarial no Mindelo e na Praia

Abstract
Diversas abordagens têm procurado demonstrar que a integração de Práticas de\nResponsabilidade Social (PRS) na gestão quotidiana das empresas constitui uma mais-valia\nem termos de diferenciação, imagem/reputação, vantagem competitiva, legitimidade social\ne eficácia organizacional. Este estudo procura identificar (por meio de inquéritos) e analisar\n– quantitativa (exploratório e descritivo) e qualitativamente (análises e associações\ninterpretativas) – as PRS numa amostra de 31 empresas em Cabo Verde, através da\ndescrição feita pelos gestores. É um estudo micro sociológico por meio do método de\nabordagem hipotético-dedutiva do fenómeno da Responsabilidade Social das Empresas\n(RSE) em Cabo Verde (Sampieri et al., 2006, p. 8-9). Os dados permitiram verificar que na\nmaioria das empresas analisadas (33%) as PRS apresentam um carácter regular, porém\ninformal; São práticas que caracterizam principalmente as empresas de maior dimensão.\nAssim, as empresas em Cabo Verde não estão a ser eficazes, pois não utilizam a RS\nenquanto prática de gestão empresarial e recurso estratégico para agregar valor\nacrescentado.
