ReTyyki-keskuksen perustaminen : Varhaiskasvattajien valmiuksien lisääminen kestävän kehityksen edistäjinä

Abstract
Tämän toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli perustaa ReTyyki-keskus. Keskuksen toiminta perustuu Reggio Emilia -pedagogiikkaan ja kierrätysmateriaalin käyttöön. Keskus kerää kierrätysmateriaalia ja kouluttaa varhaiskasvattajia kestävän kehityksen hengessä. Työn toimeksiantajana toimi Forssan kaupungin nuoriso- ja vapaa-ajantoimi. \n \nReTyyki-keskuksen perustaminen oli osa Forssan kaupungin toimenpiteitä Suomen lapsi- ja nuorisoystävällisin kunta vuonna 2017 -tavoitteen saavuttamiseksi. Samalla ReTyyki-keskus oli osa uutta liike-elämän ympäristöystävällistä toimintatapaa Järkivihreä Forssan seutu. \n \nTässä opinnäytetyössä kuvataan ReTyyki-keskuksen perustamistoimenpiteet sekä kirjataan loppupäätelmät. Varhaiskasvattajien asenteita kartoitettiin kyselytutkimuksella. Tutkimuksen mukaan varhaiskasvattajat suhtautuvat positiivisesti kestävään kehitykseen ja haluavat edistää vastuullisuuskasvatusta. Muutokset arjen kasvatusmenetelmissä, vaativat kuitenkin Forssan kaupungin merkittävää lisäpanostusta varhaiskasvatuksen resursseihin. Teoriaosuudessa esitellään Reggio Emilia -pedagogiikka.
