Revisión sistemática sobre los modelos y protocolos de seguridad para la reapertura de colegios en pandemia por COVID-19. Objetivo: Determinar los resultados y clasificar la especificación técnica y metodológica de los modelos y protocolos de seguridad para la reapertura de los colegios. Métodos: Se realizó una revisión sistemática en base a la declaración PRISMA 2020 y utilizamos Pubmed, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, CINAHL y Tripdatabase para la información bibliográfica. Se incluyó estudios transversales, cohortes, casos control y ensayos comunitarios sin limitación referida al idioma. En el desenlace se describieron los modelos y protocolos de seguridad para la reapertura de colegios en pandemia por COVID-19 y utilizamos el Newcastle Ottawa Scale (NOS) y NOS modificada para el análisis de riesgo de sesgo. Resultados: De 27 estudios que pasaron a la fase de selección por texto completo, sólo 14 pasaron a la fase de revisión sistemática. Se clasificaron en modelo simulado (subclasificándose en Modelo Basado en Agentes, Modelo Basado en Individuo, Modelo Estocástico Basado en Individuo y Modelo Estocástico Compartimental) y modelo no simulado. Discusión: Se hallaron 16 estrategias distintas entre los modelos clasificados. Entre ellas, usar la mascarilla, el distanciamiento social y una adecuada higiene dentro de las aulas generaría tasas de transmisión reducidas. El rastreo de contactos ayudaría a ubicar a las personas asintomáticas en relación al contacto con sujetos sintomáticos o confirmados de COVID-19. Otras estrategias son la reapertura progresiva y la vacunación a los docentes y personal que reduciría el riesgo de brote entre los estudiantes.
