Cette étude porte sur la réalisation du schéma directeur d’alimentation en eau potable d’une petite commune rurale du département de l’Ain, Seyssel. Elle a pour objectif de rendre compte de la performance actuelle du réseau, de sa capacité à assurer la continuité de distribution de l’eau en quantité et en qualité suffisante pour répondre aux besoins futurs et de présenter des solutions pour pallier les éventuelles faiblesses. Une modélisation du réseau est développée sous WaterGEMS et calée à partir des données obtenues lors de la campagne de mesures. Des propositions d’aménagements sont ensuite étudiées afin de corriger les dysfonctionnements mis en lumière par le diagnostic hydraulique. Ainsi, il est suggéré d’installer plusieurs stabilisateurs avals afin de réduire les fortes pressions présentes sur certains secteurs du réseau. Une interconnexion de secours est également proposée pour sécuriser l’approvisionnement en eau potable de la commune, qui se fait actuellement via une seule et unique ressource. Un chiffrage et un programme pluriannuel des travaux, intégrant le renouvellement patrimonial des ouvrages et conduites, sont établis et priorisent les différents enjeux. Enfin, l’impact de ces aménagements sur le prix de l’eau est calculé.
