Abstract
The purpose of this research was to understand the challenges, difficulties, and achievements experienced by families with children in primary and secondary school in the face of phubbing, through their narratives, and to explore the potential strategies implemented to address this phenomenon in their daily lives. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, employing virtual surveys and interviews as data collection techniques. The sample consisted of 25 families located in Colombia and Canada, with parents of school-aged children and adolescents. The results indicate that both parents and children suffer from this phenomenon. Furthermore, the use of mobile devices has become a part of daily life, both in work and educational contexts.
