Vicente José Vázquez fue un gran labrador, criador de toros de lidia y hombre de negocios sevillano que vivió entre los siglos XVIII y XIX, a caballo entre el Antiguo y el Nuevo Régimen. Llevó en arrendamiento tierras propiedad de los estamentos privilegiados pero participó activamente en los primeros procesos desamortizadores. Continuó y superó la actividad económica de su padre. Continuó como proveedor del ejército, fue labrador en tierras propias y arrendadas que, en total, se aproximan a las 10.000 hectáreas y destacó como uno de los mayores criadores de toros de lidia de la historia. Su actividad económica se desarrolló en torno a su ciudad natal, Sevilla.
