Abstract
The aim of the article is to present the process of developing Greenlandic identity on the \nborderland of cultures and nations. The author, look at Greenlandic identity as a category, \nwhich is constantly evolving. The main thesis of the article is that Greenlandic identity was \ndestroyed by the appointment of two different ethnic groups. This appointment started the \nprocess of deconstructing the traditional Inuit identity. The individual parts of the article \ndiscuss issues such as the components of the traditional Inuit identity and the factors of its \ndevelopment in the past. In the article, author used the text source analysis method and own \nresearch based on the SAWI method.
