Abstract
La Armada Nacional - Aviación Naval no cuentan en la actualidad con un helicóptero tipo pesado con capacidades de transportar tropa para veinte pax con su equipo completo, así mismo con capacidad de hacer aprovisionamientos para más de dos toneladas de carga en víveres y munición a los puestos de Infantería de Marina. Actualmente la flota de la Aviación Naval ala rotatoria son helicópteros tipo liviano y mediano de poca capacidad como los BELL 212, BELL 412, FENNEC, BO, BK. La Aviación Naval para cubrir esta necesidad ha realizado durante nueve años continuos la contratación de este servicio a través de procesos de licitación con empresas civiles, con la limitante que en Colombia no existe una pluralidad de oferentes con capacidad de satisfacer las necesidades de la Armada Nacional Aviación Naval.
