Abstract
Winter Games adalah salah satu karya David Walter Foster yang monumental. Karya ini menjadi soundtrack Olimpiade Musim Dingin di Calgary Alberta, Kanada tahun 1988. Dari segi musikologis, karya ini memiliki beberapa keunikan sebab sangat terkait dengan sebuah perhelatan besar. Winter Games memberikan gambaran yang utuh tentang semangat, sportivitas, dinamika, kompetisi, dan keinginan yang kuat untuk memenangkan pertandingan.
