Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Research on Taiwanese migrants has primarily been conducted in Australia, New
\nZealand, the United States and Canada, but much less in non-English speaking
\ncountries such as Argentina. The literature on Taiwanese immigrants has also
\ntended to overlook young people, whether born in Taiwan or in destination
\ncountries. The present research tries to fill in this gap by focusing on the family
\nties of young Taiwanese migrants in Argentina, and the role they play in their
\nadaptation to Argentina and return-migration decisions. The objective of this
\nresearch is to depict the situation of young people of Taiwanese origin in
\nArgentina. The guiding question is, how do these young people view their family
\nand national identity? The method of study is first a literature review mainly
\nbased on statistics, surveys and other secondary sources. Moreover, to get a
\nsnapshot of young return migrants from Argentina, 18 interviews with semistructured questionnaires were conducted in Taiwan between 2008 and 2009.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
