La investigación se desarrolló en una finca cafetalera con manejo agroecológico en el departamento de Santa Ana. Con el objetivo de caracterizar las propiedades físicas del suelo \nevaluando sus propiedades y relacionarlas, con el manejo agroecológico como un indicador relevante en el comportamiento potencial de la producción de la finca. Se han extraído muestra de suelo y analizadas por diferentes métodos de campo y laboratorio las muestras en campo fueron analizadas con equipo de alta tecnología, como el permeámetro de guelph, penetrometro y GPS. Con el fin de poder obtener datos que posean un nivel alto de veracidad y las muestras que no se pudieron analizar en campo, fueron llevadas al laboratorio de suelos de la facultad de ciencias agronómicas de la Universidad de El Salvador. En donde se realizaron análisis para determinar el tipo de textura del suelo, densidad aparente, densidad real, porosidad y color de suelo. Con los resultados obtenidos de campo y laboratorio se realizó el análisis de interpretación para dar las recomendaciones necesarias con el fin de que la finca agroecológica sea más productiva
