CAL Matilda y las mujeres en ingeniería

Abstract
Desde el mes de julio de 2020 surge la Cátedra Abierta Latinoamericana Matilda y las Mujeres en Ingeniería (CAL Matilda). Desde entonces, se ha trabajado arduamente y con un compromiso no sólo de ingenieras y científicas, sino de colegas hombres que han acompañado este mismo fin, en pro de la igualdad de derechos, oportunidades y espacios, con la esperanza de tener una voz conjunta que represente a las mujeres latinoamericanas. Esta iniciativa surge a través de 3 instituciones directivas fundadoras: el Consejo Federal de Decanos de Ingeniería de Argentina - CONFEDI, la Asociación Colombiana de Facultades de Ingeniería - ACOFI y el Consorcio Latinoamericano y del Caribe de Instituciones de Ingeniería – LACCEI, que han pretendido sobrepasar muros, constituyendo una apuesta con el propósito de incentivar a las jóvenes para seguir carreras de ingeniería, creyendo que nada puede impedir el desarrollo profesional, personal y el ser felices de las mujeres en ingeniería.
