Abstract
Bakgrund: I dagens vårdsystem ställs det höga krav på kvalitet och flexibilitet, inte minst vid plötsliga förflyttningar för personalen mellan olika sjukhus. Dessa förflyttningar av personalen sker ofta för att hantera personalbrist eller vid akuta vårdbehov och kan innebära stora påfrestningar för personalen. Det kan även innebära att den psykiska och fysiska hälsan påverkas negativt. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka upplevelsen av förflyttning vilket innefattar pendling från sin ordinarie arbetsplats inom operation och anestesi. Metod: Tvärsnittsstudie med kvantitativ ansats. En enkätstudie som riktar sig till specialistsjuksköterskor inom operation och anestesi. I studien deltog totalt 55 anestesi- och operationssjuksköterskor från ett regionsjukhus med tre närsjukhus. Orsaksanalyser gjordes för att studera signifikanta samband mellan de olika sjukhusen. Resultat: Studien visar att anestesi- och operationssjuksköterskor inte alltid upplever tillräcklig patientsäkerhet i samband med pendling mellan sjukhusen, där även arbetsmiljö, återhämtning och privatlivet påverkas. Chefsstöd har ingen direkt påverkan på patientsäkerheten, men påverkar medarbetarnas oro för omorganisering, arbetsutveckling och stämningen på arbetsplatsen. Konklusion: Balansen mellan arbete och privatliv är viktig och arbetslivskonflikter kan orsaka stress och psykisk ohälsa. Pendling kan vara en påfrestande faktor som påverkar återhämtning, sömn och hälsa, vilket understryker behovet av strategier för bättre balans mellan arbete, pendling och privatliv.
