Abstract
Liên kết (Cohesion) nói chung, phép nối (Conjunction) nói riêng đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc tạo tính mạch lạc (Coherence) cho văn bản. Do vậy, phép nối cũng là một trong những yếu tố trọng yếu của quy trình tạo lập và tiếp nhận văn bản. Với đơn vị nghiên cứu cơ bản là Phát ngôn[1], (tạm gọi những đơn vị biểu hiện sự nối kết giữa hai hay nhiều phát ngôn là Từ nối[2]), chúng tôi khảo sát các loại quan hệ của phép nối, dựa vào mối quan hệ qua lại giữa các phát ngôn trong ngữ cảnh. Thật sự, từ nối chỉ là những phương tiện hình thức, dùng để cụ thể hóa mối quan hệ ý nghĩa vốn dĩ đã tồn tại tiềm tàng trong bản thân các đơn vị ngôn ngữ, cụ thể là những phát ngôn. Tuy nhiên, trong bài viết này, chúng tôi chỉ đi sâu tìm hiểu quan hệ Làm rõ trong tiếng Việt ? một trong những quan hệ ngữ nghĩa cơ bản của phép nối ? với những tiểu loại cụ thể, ít nhiều khác với các công trình đi trước.
