Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación está basado en dar a conocer las condiciones turísticas para la práctica de las actividades del turismo de aventura en la provincia de Tocache departamento de San Martin. Los resultados demuestran que existen nueve recursos turísticos, destacándose Catarata Velo de Novia, cascada María la fantástica, cascada María de los Perfiles, Cascada de La Ninfa ,catarata San Juan De Ishanga, Cueva Milagrosa, Cueva Misteriosa, cueva del Ángel y el rio Chontayacu; que cuentan con rutas de acceso caracterizado por una carretera afirmada, asfaltada, trocha carrozable y caminos de herradura, medios de a caballo, camionetas, automóviles, bicicleta y motos lineales, entorno paisajístico y prinandole seguridad y tranquilidad al turista visitante. \nLa planta turística que cuenta y a la comunidad receptora son elementos positivos de la provincia de estudio ya que cuenta con una planta turística limitada pero al mismo tiempo cubre las necesidades básicas de los turistas y visitantes, contando con una comunidad receptora colaboradora y participativa en el turismo. \nSe utilizó métodos como: etnográfico, analítico-sintético: ayudó al análisis de la información recopilada en campo; técnicas como: observación directa siendo empleada en la etapa de campo, encuesta: realizada a un porcentaje de la comunidad, fichaje: esta técnica ayudó a sistematizar la información tomando en cuenta; instrumentos como: ficha de observación, cuestionario de encuesta y cámara fotográfica.
