Abstract
"Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar os contextos e determinantes que envolvem a violência intrafamiliar contra os idosos atendidos pela Estratégia Saúde da Família no município de Massapê-Ceará. Utilizou como metodologia um estudo com abordagem qualitativa e teve como sujeitos quatro idosos/famílias atendidos na equipe mencionada. A coleta de informações foi feita por uma entrevista semi-estruturada nos idosos identificados pelas Agentes de Saúde no mês de novembro a dezembro de 2008. Os resultados foram apresentados descritivamente, através do Método Calgary de Avaliação de Família, (Geno- grama e Ecomapa). Concluiu-se que todos os idosos mantinham vínculos conflituosos com algum membro de sua família e que no município ainda não existem redes de apoio estruturadas para solucionar o problema."
