Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The catalytic decomposition of 2-propanol has been investigated
\nin a flow system from 200-300?C on vanadium pentoxide and modified
\nvanadium pentoxide catalysts.
\nDehydration, dehydrogenation and propane formation were observed
\nover the temperature range studied. The propane reaction was predominant
\nat higher temperatures.
\nKinetic experiments showed the dehydration and dehydrogenation
\nreactions to be zero order with respect to all components while the propane-
\nforming reaction was found to have a rate order of 0.3 with respect
\nto 2-propanol. The kinetics for the reactions were interpreted in terms
\nof the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model and elimination type mechanisms have
\nbeen proposed to account for the 2-propanol decomposition.
\nTrends in activity and activation energies for the dehydration
\nreaction have been correlated with the mobility of surface oxygen
\npreviously reported in the literature. Some correlations were obtained
\nwith activation energies for dehydration reactions in similar systems.
\nThe reduction of the catalysts used, as indicated by changes
\nin surface area and X-ray powder diffraction patterns, has been related
\nto oxygen mobility and to the surface 'Tammann* temperature of the
\nadditive.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
