The Department\nconducted a comprehensive assessment of this corn event\naccording to its Guidelines for the Safety Assessment of Novel\nFoods. These guidelines are based upon internationally\naccepted principles for establishing the safety of foods\nwith novel traits.\nThe following provides a summary of the notification\nfrom Dow Agrosciences Canada, Inc. and the evaluation\nby Heath Canada and contains no confidential business\ninformation.
