Abstract
¿Leer un libro o esperar a la versión cinematográfica? Hablo conscientemente de 'versión' y no de 'adaptación', pues estas últimas no tienen porqué ser fieles a la obra literaria original. La principal motivación de esta investigación, que tiene como objetivo realizar un estudio en relación con el proceso de adaptación cinematográfica de una obra literaria; haciendo hincapié en las alteraciones producidas entre ambos formatos. En primer lugar, se propone una aproximación teórica al concepto 'adaptación' , así como se establecen las variables que serán objeto de análisis; y, en segundo lugar, se estudia el caso de Peter Pan, obra original de J.M. Barrie y las numerosas adaptaciones que derivan de ella.
