Abstract
ABSTRACT: Compact Gas-to-Liquid technology, called Micro-GtL, is one of the substantial solutions to minimize the environmental and climate pollution as well as monetizing the wasted flared / stranded gas in remote oil wellheads. The process integrates two complex units, catalytic partial oxidation (CPOX) at 20 bar and 900 ◦C followed by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) at 300◦C and the same pressure. Running this operation that deals with explosive mixture and emission of toxic gases at moderate pressures and high temperatures, is risky and con-sists of catastrophic accidents that must be precisely recognized and completely prevented. Furthermore, the FTS as the critical part of this pilot plant, needs specific technical at-tentions since it is not only an extreme exothermic reaction but also its characterizations are readily affected by upstream disturbances. Hence, a suitable temperature controller is required and the cooling capacity of the fluidized bed reactor must be assured to avoid run-away reaction during startup and normal operation. Therefore, we proposed ’Failure mode risk decision’ methodology to analyze all the potential hazardous scenarios, quantify the in-herent risks and allocate appropriate safeguards to mitigate the risk accordingly. We also designed a simulation-based feedback temperature PI controller and tested its performance for uncertainties in the kinetic parameters and heat transfer coefficient as well as potential disturbances in the upstream operating conditions including H2/CO ratio, feed temperature, and flow rate and eventually considered it as a reliable preliminary controller in the actual operation that could be re-tuned during the operation. Finally, we designed a safe-mode experiment, in absence of reaction, to measure the cooling capacity of the internal tube heat exchanger and modelled two PI and PID controllers to ensure that the system is able to remove the huge heat of reaction quickly, in particular at the startup point. Based on the results, a PID plus filter using anti-reset windup approach provides a fast and smooth perfor-mance on the cooling mechanism which is more convenient than the PI with modified gain. All these strategies are targeted to handle a safe and smooth operation either in the case of starting the process or during the normal operation within the micro-GtL pilot.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
