Abstract
The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) is one of Africa’s oldest, most violent, and longest lived\narmed groups. After a trend downward of its actions, the first quarter of 2016 have led to a\nsharp rise on their actions; they abducted more people in one month than in 2015. At the\nbeginning of March 2016, the UN and the EU have included the LRA and their leaders in\ntheir respective Sanctions List.
